What you'll do
We are looking for a student to assist the development of the computing orchestration service for SAP's Converged Cloud.

This presents a unique opportunity to get insight into our custom framework for executing and supervising remote jobs on Linux & Windows operating systems.

Minimum Duration: 6 months

What you bring

Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
Preferred fields of study: Computer Sciences
Computer skills: Handson experience with containers, Fluent in the programming language Golang, Ruby and Rails is a plus.
Language skills: Fluent in English and/or German
Soft skills: good communication skills, fun working in a multinational team, understanding the dynamics of communication in opensource projects.

The SAP Converged Cloud is a private cloud solution managed by SAP.

It is an internal Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform deployed worldwide in 17 regions to support all of SAP's cloud businesses on a global scale.

The team offering this position is responsible for a fleet of globally distributed Kubernetes clusters. All software that makes up SAP's Converged Cloud is hosted on this fleet.
