Job Description Summary

Job Responsibilities

Primary responsibilities for this position will include:

  • Assist with supporting current Weitzman IT services including: Print Server Service-PaperCut/Equitrac, Equipment checkout system -Webcheckout, File server management, and other on-prem or cloud storage options including software license services.
  • Works with Sr Systems Administrator to develop/modify Windows PowerShell and crossplatform Microsoft PowerShell scripts. Experience with
bash scripting is ideal.

  • Support centrally managed services at the school level including (Code 42 Backup solution, Crowdstrike O365, Classlists, PennNet Mailing Lists and Adobe licenses)
  • Deploy and manage macOS systems using the current MDM and software patch management solutions (Jamf/Apple Device Enrollment Program and BigFix) Jamf experience and Linux OS knowledge is required.
  • Serve as the primary deployment specialist and support for macOS users in
Meyerson Hall and Weitzman Hall in partnership with Weitzman ITS' macOS
team.

  • Work closely with Sr Sys Admin to plan and implement IT projects including any ISC initiatives involving the Weitzman School.

Additional responsibilities for this position will include:

  • Assist with supporting current Weitzman IT services including: Print Server

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of 3 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience; 7 years of experience preferred.
They should be knowledgeable in Active Directory, Hypervisor; Windows Environments:
Windows Server and Windows OS: Win 10/11, Mac Environments; Macintosh Hardware; Mac OS; Mac OS X. Knowledge and
experience with Jamf and other Enterprise macOS integrations required;
knowledge of Linux distributions is a plus.
