Job Description Summary:

What You Will Do:

Support of external customers focusing on Central and Eastern Europe
-
Active acquisition for service projects, either in combination with new build projects or on the installed base of existing substations
-
Clarification of customer requirements
-
Preparation of cost analyses for customer budgets and binding offers
-
Development of technical solutions for the implementation of customer requirements in cooperation with other departments
-
Presentation and partial preparation of customer-ready offers for long term service agreements, modernization and upgrade of existing substations, lifecycle services, as well as customer-specific solutions, for substations incorporating GE supplied equipment and third-party vendors

Conduct customer negotiations with clarification of technical and commercial conditions, up to contract handover to execution team

Drive commercial activity for services in the region within Order Intake and Gross Margin on Order Intake targets


Your Profile:


  • Successfully completed studies in the field of electrical engineering or a comparable focus, as well as several years of professional experience in Power Generation or Electrical Transmission
  • Knowledge of service activities and associated contracting models in industries such as Power generation, Power Transmission, Oil & Gas or Electro industries
  • Knowledge of highvoltage systems in the areas of High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) power systems, Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS), and Conventional AC substations will be a big advantage
  • Very good communication and teamwork skills as well as independent action paired with a sense of urgency and priorities
  • Willingness to travel for business trips in the area of activity (1520% across the region; Germany, Netherlands, Poland, etc.)
  • Experienced handling of MS Office as well as good knowledge of SAP and a CRM tool are an advantage
  • Fluent in English, German at C1 level will be an advantage
