Story so far

Since Sir Jim Ratcliffe announced Project Grenadier in 2017, our team at INEOS Automotive has grown rapidly. From a start-up to the scaled business we are now, we've hit some huge milestones along the way.

Despite some global challenges, we brought our first vehicle, the INEOS Grenadier, from a vision to prototype and to market in just five years.

And now, as the first customer deliveries of our INEOS Grenadier have begun, we look to the future with our first all-electric vehicle.

Your role:

The job holder will plan all QM needs for the Grenadier and ensure the availability for equipment (measurements, gauges, fixtures,), areas and headcount for QM facilities in project and series based on a minimum invest approach.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Develop with Engineering and Operations aligned and accepted Standard for a quality equipment planning (e.g. measurement equipment, fixture and gauges,)
Plan the QM demands regarding equipment, buildings, areas and headcount based on the Grenadiers requirements (project phase and series production)
Alignment with Production Planning, Engineering, Sales and Finance on the content of the QM demands and facilitate them
Ensure that the QM demands are based on a minimum invest approach
Creation of test plans together with engineering, PQE, ME, Manufacturing Quality to ensure the specified product standards in series production
Contributing to product release (internally PPAP) in cooperation with PQE and Engineering by delivering relevant measuring results
Close collaboration with Engineering and Sales to ensure QM planning based on the Grenadiers requirements.
Close collaboration with Operations and Finance to ensure a minimum of invest.

What we are looking for:

Technical degree in engineering or similar studies, or vocational education with further expertise (e.g. Technician)
35 years of professional experience in the field of quality and measuring technology
Experience in Quality Management (especially in measurement technology) in Automotive Industry
Good technical understanding in automotive production
Good knowledge of statistics, product liability law, special characteristics, norms and customer requirements
High team skills
High empathy and very good communication skill, motivation skill and enthusiastic capacity ability to adapt to diverse people and situations
High organizational skills and result orientation
Good analytical thinking
Very good English skills
Good MS-Office
Willingness to travel for business trips
