In order to support our Military Aircraft Services Training and Flight Operations Finance & Controlling team, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a


Training and Flight Operations Program Controller (d/f/m) :

Your tasks and responsibilities
-
manage program profit & loss incl. program directorates (Target Systems & Services and Training Simulation) and subsidiaries
-
provide quantitative and qualitative data to support discussions and decision making at management level
-
provide performance against budget/targets highlighting discrepancies and propose mitigation actions if needed
-
challenge and support business partner for all directorates in terms of financial and operational performance improvement
-
drumbeat and drive planning processes (e.g. Operating Planning, Forecasts, Workload)
-
contributes to cash planning (pre-deliveries/advance payments, European Technology Initiatives, CapEx, inventory, supplier spend planning)
-
for development programs monitor programs through Earned Value Management, together with business stakeholders. Support proposals & commercial deals
-
provide quantitative and qualitative financial data to prepare business case proposals
-
validate the consistency of financial content and financial risk exposure in the proposal and establish the business case.

Desired skills and qualifications
-
Degree in Finance, Business Management or equivalent
-
A least several years of experience in activities which have allowed you to acquire sound skills and knowledge of Finance, in particular**:


  • Working capital management & performance
-
Risk & opportunity management
-
Pricing processes
-
Controlling, planning, and reporting processes
-
Project management
-
Data analytics, processing, and visualization skills
-
Excellent financial skills and the ability to persuade, influence, collaborate and convince
-
Experience in working in a matrix environment with proven record of successful stakeholder management
-
Able to anticipate, assess and mitigate risks
-
Excellent skills in relationship building, team building, collaborate across functions, empowering, motivating others and conflict management
-
Negotiation level of English, fluency in German as a plus
