We offer the following location/s:

The challenge:

Build up and improve the automated trading activities within the short term trading of E.ON Energie Deutschland
Analyze processes and IT tools within the Short Term Trading and design and implement measures to automize processes together with the traders and IT teams
Analyze relevant market data to identify opportunities for automated trading within the short term markets
Develop and implement trading strategies for algo trading in cooperation with the traders
Maintain and parameterize (algo) trading tools
Create analysis and reports to measure performance of trading strategies
Business support for the development of models and algorithms to predict market and prices parameters
Actively support the constant improvement of IT tools and fronttoend processes

A convincing Background:

University Degree (technical/ mathematical/ economical/ IT background) or other appropriate qualification
Profound knowledge on the German power and gas market
High analytical skills and structured way of working
Profound knowledge on database and analytical skills
Proactive, selfdriven team player with excellent communication skills
IT affinity and good programing skills (e.g. SQL, Python, VBA)
Willingness and motivation to develop and improve new business activities
High degree of reliability, proactiveness and teamwork
Good knowledge of German and English
