As the Group Head of Regulatory Reporting at Raisin Group, you will lead a team of 3-4 specialists in managing the full spectrum of regulatory reporting requirements for a German Bank, a German-based financial group, and a UK licensed PSD2 provider.

This role requires hands-on involvement and a deep understanding of relevant regulations including KWG, CRR, MiFID, HGB, and rules for custodians.

You will ensure accurate and timely reporting, including tax reporting for the bank, and collaborate extensively with finance, compliance, risk management, tech, and data teams.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Regulatory Reporting Oversight: Oversee all aspects of regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with German and UK financial regulations, and including external reporting for risk management.
  • Process Optimization: Utilize BAIS, NetSuite, Mambu, Excel, Python, Looker, and Snowflake to streamline reporting processes, leveraging automation tools where possible.
  • Collaborative Approach: Collaborate with various departments, including finance, risk management, compliance, and IT, to integrate regulatory reporting systems and data sources seamlessly.
  • Regulatory Compliance Management: Stay abreast of evolving regulatory landscapes, assess impacts on reporting, and proactively adapt processes to maintain compliance.

Maintain comprehensive documentation and support audit processes with accurate and timely information.

  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve discrepancies or issues in regulatory reporting, working with relevant stakeholders for effective solutions.

Your Profile:


  • Educational Background: Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in regulatory reporting within the banking or financial services industry. Handson experience with regulatory frameworks and reporting requirements.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in BAIS (required), with Netsuite, Mambu (preferred), as well as Excel, Python, Looker, and Snowflake. Strong tech skills and ability to work with data in a cloudbased environment are essential.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of KWG, CRR, MiFID, HGB, and rules for custodians.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team of specialists.
  • Language: Proficiency in German and English.
