Tasks

You are responsible for the technical and personnel leadership of the "Corporate internal Audit" department
You will report regularly to the Executive Board of
DEKRA SE on the status, risks and measures arising from the internal audits.
You monitor and control the planning and execution of the yearly defined internal audits
You evaluate the content results of the internal audits in accordance with the riskbased approach
You continuously ensure that the audit programs are aligned with the policies and guidelines set out in Corporate Governance.
You constantly monitor the efficiency, costeffectiveness and target orientation of auditing methods, techniques and audit process flows
You assess the appropriateness and functionality of internal control selfassessments
You supervise the coordination with external auditors
You are a solutionoriented initiator for the implementation of regulatory and other external requirements for the Executive Board, Directors and Managers
You will monitor the processing of findings through the followup system and conduct followup audits
You accompany compliance audits in cooperation with the Corporate Legal and Compliance department
You manage adhoc audits in a goaloriented manner

Qualifications:

Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or similar
Several years of professional experience in internal auditing, finance, risk management or financial auditing
High knowledge of process and risk management as well as business contexts
A good understanding of DEKRA shared services models and DEKRA products
Experience and knowledge in the area of audit processes, methods and tools and accounting, especially IFRS and controlling
Strong analytical, reporting and consulting skills
A high degree of entrepreneurial mindset combined with a strong sense of responsibility and good communication skills
Implementation strength with regard to the successful implementation of audit findings
Experience with SAP and professional use of MS Office
CIA certification (Certified Internal Auditor), project management and leadership experience are an added advantage
Fluent English
Willingness to travel
