YOUR TASKS:

Steering of global project activities towards Air Supply purchasing strategy & alignment with category purchasing counterparts

Define global vs. regional content/parts & volumes for supplier RfQ based on R&D & production footprint

Global cost & timing tracking inclusive escalation & mitigation plan; ensure supplier nomination and clear communication on target costs and timing

Ensure overall Business Case target achievement (mat dir, tooling costs), monitor projects KPI and report to project management

Coordinate with Category (commodity) Purchasing the identification and development of global sourcing opportunities in line with product strategy and requirements

Facilitate idea & best practice sharing within the Center of Competence across regions, for example VAVE project, resourcing, change management

Manage defined product families for the Center of Competence Air supply


YOUR PROFILE:

University degree with engineering, business administration or equivalent background, a recent MBA of advantage


Purchasing or Project Management experience with fields of: automotive product development in cost sensitive and globally connected environments

Technical background and Automotive experience in project management

Fluent knowledge of English required, advanced German is advantageous

Flexible for short business trips to suppliers & production sites

Self-confident, pro-active and team player

Good communication skills and cultural sensitivity to support cooperation between different departments and regions
