The main goal of this work is the planning and commissioning of a digital interface that enables the acquisition of machine data from Beckhoff and Siemens controls in real-time via DEWESOFT.

Your tasks:

Familiarization with measurement tasks and automation technology at Groz-Beckert
Deepening knowledge of DEWESOFT's data acquisition systems and the machine controls of Beckhoff and Siemens
Planning and implementation of the interface between DEWESOFT and the machine controls
Conducting tests to determine the performance and reliability of the interface
Creation of comprehensive documentation that documents all steps of planning, implementation, and testing

Your profile:

Study in the field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related course of study
Good understanding of measurement tasks and automation technology
Knowledge in the areas of Beckhoff, Siemens, and OPC UA is advantageous
Programming skills are desirable, especially in the context of PLC
A precise and structured way of working as well as the ability to document projects
