Your tasks- Support the design team in translating ideas in products: trend research, materials and colours sourcing, creating mood boards and visual support to the Design team.
- Help preparing CADs and drawings using Illustrator
- Support the Design team in the initial sketch phase, helping to create overviews and preparation for design presentations.
- Support PD team in sourcing of components, materials, trims and accessories as necessary
- Set up all key meetings in the calendar for the different stages of development according to the General Company Critical Path
- Prepare all material, mood boards and product for meetings
- Update and upkeep of all material after each key development stage and update all relevant departments
- Contact suppliers where necessary, including proto and sample chasing, raw materials and components orders
- Work closely with the Merchandising and Marketing teams on product changes and updates to the collections
- Sample management
- Keep track of movement of all protos and samples, filing and storing all samples in a clean and organised way.
- General assistance & support in administrative work for product & design team.
Profile:
- Academic degree, ideally in Business Administration, Fashion or other relevant qualification
- 1+ years of experience in an analogical role preferably from highend fashion brands
- Some understanding of product development in the fields of Accessories and Footwear
- Good knowledge of Design softwares such as Illustrator/Photoshop
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication English
- Italian a bonus
- Strong followthrough and time management skills, highly organised
