Job purpose

In your role you will develop and implement sustainable investment solutions as a member of the P&C Investment Management (IMPC) team at AIM.

You will contribute to manage and steer the EUR 16bn investment portfolio of Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS) which is one flagship carrier of Allianz's global property & casualty insurance business.

Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to drive functional topics and projects across various P&C portfolios.

In your position you will closely cooperate with IMPC Team members, OE's Treasury & Risk teams, AIM expert teams and internal and external Asset Managers.


Key responsibilities

  • Implementing the strategic asset allocation in line with our stateoftheart assetliability management (ALM) framework and key performance indicators of the business
  • Planning and steering of investment results (IFRS)
  • Assuming local expert responsibility for relevant asset classes, e.g. Fixed Income, Equity, Real Estate
  • Ensuring compliance of portfolio with Solvency II, regulatory constraints and ESG standards
  • Analyzing investment performance and regular reporting to AGCS and AIM top management
  • Improving investment processes with automation and simplification

Key requirements

  • First Class university master's degree in finance, economics or engineering
  • 3 to 5 years working experience in the finance / investment area
  • Knowledge of IFRS and Solvency II framework
  • Team player, solutionoriented approach, pragmatic with excellent analytical and organizational skills
  • Convincing communication and presentation skills in both, English and German language
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Office and Data management experience
  • PhD, CFA, MBA and/or programming skills (e.g. Python) is a plus
