We are currently looking to hire a talented Regional Cost Expert to join our team.

As a Regional Cost Expert, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team, particularly the Proposal Sales Managers, by providing guidance, training, and expertise in project cost calculations.

Your work will contribute to ensuring efficient bid processes and cost target compliance, thereby contributing to the success of our company.


Responsibilities:


  • Providing guidance and training for Proposal Sales Managers on guidelines, cost, and their updates to ensure accurate project costing.
  • Validating exworks calculations to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Participating in the global Onshore Cost Community to secure collaboration and knowledge exchange.
  • Regularly reviewing cost development in the region and analyzing deviations.
  • Reviewing consistency of productivity measures to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Conducting benchmarking and variance analysis between similar projects and different project phases to enhance competitiveness and cost transparency.
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of a regional standard costing tool to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Additionally, we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Relevant professional experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Proven experience in costing, preferably in a sales or project management environment.
  • Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and support stakeholders.
  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of the wind industry is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Power BI is advantageous.
