You will be supported by the large existing wind engineering team based in Hamburg to target and grow our offshore wind pipeline as a full project lifecycle service.

It is an exciting time to join us as we now roll out a 'One Sector Wind' approach which pulls together all our relevant services to offshore wind into one division to align and streamline our service to our clients
- you can be a part of its success

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

Strategic planning and growth:

  • Implement the strategic direction of our offshore wind consent team across Germany for the forthcoming market growth.
  • Support the strategic thinking around expansion into wider global markets.

Team leadership and growth:

  • Grow, manage and lead the offshore wind EIA team in readiness for the pipeline and support strategic leadership of the wider EIA team.
  • Upskilling of staff with transferrable skills into offshore wind projects
  • Develop a clear template for delivery for our offshore wind projects that builds on our experience to add value and efficiencies to our future projects.

Delivering outstanding client facing solutions:

  • Project Director or strategic advisor for a portfolio of offshore wind projects comprising direction to the EIA team, accountability for all deliverables, providing EIA and wider consenting strategic advice and troubleshooting to the Project, senior client and stakeholder representative.

Client account development:

  • Build the pipeline of offshore wind work by developing existing contacts and building new industry contacts.
  • Key client relationship manager for selected key client accounts with a view of ensuring good performance and expanding our opportunities
  • Lead on our offshore wind bidding activity and bid sponsor on select wider strategic bids.
  • Maintain and strengthen connections across Ramboll to access opportunities and support development of the 'One Sector Wind' offer internally.

External facing/industry profile:

  • Promote the Ramboll brand to the offshore wind industry and increase our industry profile across the service offering, including through representation at conferences, production of news and technical articles, social media presence etc.
