Project Delivery & Engineering is responsible for the maturation and execution of our construction projects.

Our vision is to be one step ahead of competition in safely constructing next generation offshore wind farms while deploying our knowledge already during the planning and contracting phases in order to secure successful project delivery.

What will you do?

As the Head of Digital Engineering, you will be responsible for developing digital products supporting the entire value chain with focus on OT.

You will also realize synergies in control and analytical modelling by enabling SCADA Engineering teams and Digital Integration teams to work alongside each other.

You will further develop the collaboration among these teams and optimize engineering design by capturing and integrating all relevant data (end-to-end).

You will strive for the highest standards of cyber security for our portfolio within BU Offshore Wind but also for BA Wind's other business units.

Your team will be the supplier of digital innovation within Project Delivery & Engineering but also act as a supplier to other stakeholders, like Generation or BU Onshore Wind.

You will lead a team of line managers for SCADA Engineering and Digital Integration.

You are continuously securing lessons learned back into the department and continue to improve our ways of working to ensure close alignment between the teams but also towards development projects or our spinning assets.

Furthermore, your responsibilities include:

Leading and developing the department, (people & knowledge management) with employees in 4 different countries (UK, DK, DE and NL).
Driving digitalisation of and integration in key work flows in offshore wind farms by implementing hardware and software solutions.
Ensuring the right capabilities, compliance and reliability to secure operations.
Coordinating activities with other Engineering departments, our Digitalisation department in Business Area Wind or Vattenfall's IT team.
Driving standardisation of activities, developing and implementing best practice systems and processes.
Proactively contributing to crossfunctional improvement.
Increasing safety (and security) awareness and increasing HSE performance on projects and in the line.
Contributing to the implementation and continued improvement of our strategy.
Securing (financial) performance of the department.

Profile:

Your Background

Master degree combined with MBA (commercial mindset) and supported by senior leadership training.
Minimum 10 to 15 years' experience in the (offshore) wind industry and leading managers that drive successful digital initiatives.
Deep understanding of all lifecycle phases of developing offshore assets including the main data flow.
Proven track record in developing digital solutions and software in close alignment with the right hardware.
Proven track record in successfully developing businesses and organisations, incl. communication at board level.
Strong security mindset with a strong commitment to contribute to the development and delivery of inherently more secure wind farms.
Demonstratable leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to handle interfaces and collaborate across functions.
High degree of selfmotivation with a flexible approach to work.
Fluency in English is required, Danish/German language skills an advantage.
