The Impact You'll Make in this Role


As an Event Planner (*) in CER, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.


Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Providing specialized professional services to support the planning and execution of local Medical Education programs in EMEA, with primary focus on events in the Central European Region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)._
  • W
- _orking independently to plan and execute medical education events. Arranging Faculty/Speaker travel arrangements, conducting venue sourcing and contracting. Accountable for budget management and assuming fiscal responsibility in managing program spend._
  • W
orking closely with Health Care Compliance to ensure adherence to MedTech Code of Conduct, global requirements and corporate guidelines pertaining to interactions with and exchanges of value for HCP's. Ensuring healthcare compliance through lifecycle of meetings managed._
  • Sharing best practices and demonstrating continued dedication to improving processes._
  • Demonstrating a strong commitment to both corporate and Global Medical Sciences (GMS) operations, principles, and values._
Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • High School diploma or higher from an accredited institution_
  • Highly proficient bi-lingual oral and written communication skills in English and German and familiarity with European culture_Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
  • Associates degree or higher in Hospitality Management/Business Management, or related field from an accredited institution_
  • W
ork experience with direct coordination of healthcare related or medical education Speaker program management_
  • Experience with professional event management software/systems [Cvent, etc.]_
  • Basic knowledge of and experience with Health Care Compliance practices pertaining to interactions with Healthcare Professionals within EMEA and specific to the Central European Region_
  • Interpersonal skills, sharp attention to detail with a focus on quality, ability to collaborate with multiple people and manage concurrent events and projects in a fastpaced environment_

  • Travel:
    May include up to 15% domestic and international for event execution and departmental meeting attendance
