Being our
HR Generalist, you are responsible for providing strategic vision and operational HR support and expertise in all areas of the employee life cycle for the Sensient Germany site.

This position will consult with leaders on engagement strategy, HR policies and procedures, and assist employees with HR related queries.

It is a highly collaborative position, working closely with the HR Manager and extended global HR Team.

While working independently, this position will also participate in local, business unit or global projects.

What will you do in this role?

You will be engaged in the development, follow up and execution of Sensient's HR strategic plan, in partnership with the Global HR strategy
Provide support, oversight, supervision, and approval of payroll, as well as promote internal and external compensation and benefits
Collaborate with management on staffing issues, including recruitment, merit/promotions, and employee relations
Manage and report on new hires (including onboarding ), merit, promotional, performance development plans, and termination procedures (offboarding)
Consult with and advise leadership about compliance with organizational policies, procedures and legal regulations
Coach teams in HR good practice and leadership matters, as well as training needs for the local site

What do you need to bring with you?

Generalist HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment, along with strong skills in communication (English and German fluency), planning and organization, HR management software. We need you to be a team player, adaptive and with proactive attitude to work at an international level. We need your ability to lead, influence and build successful working relationships at all levels
Experience level must be commensurate with 5 plus years of direct HR Generalist duties showing consistent growth within the role
Your availability to work from our Geesthacht site on daily basis and to travel internationally occasionally
