  • In line with this commitment, we are seeking an ambitious Junior Product Owner to support the product management of our suite of digital customer products. As a key member of the Digital Business & Partnerships department, you will collaborate closely under the guidance of a Senior Product Owner. Our mission is critical — to design and develop globally scalable digital products that streamline the entire quotetocash journey, addressing our customers' most significant challenges. Your efforts will be instrumental in transitioning customer experiences from traditional physical interactions to intuitive digital engagements.

Your next challenge:


  • You are primarily accountable for our backbone product "Manage HConnect" (MHC) which is used for user account management and content management of our product suite HConnect. The accountability (which may evolve beyond MHC) includes product strategy, backlog and release management, market and industry insights as well as communication
  • Product Strategy: You will guide with clear vision and objectives by articulating and refining a product vision, roadmap and growth opportunities. You will sit in the driver seat to realise this strategy. You will work closely with stakeholders from around the world, our UX, and delivery team on developing and optimizing features based on indepth research that uncovers the users' needs and pain points. You will also align with other product teams to jointly define cross team roadmaps resolving interdependencies

Release Management:
You will evaluate product value, develop business cases and prioritise epics and user stories aligned with the strategy.

You will maintain a value-driven backlog, ensuring supply of prepared tasks for the development team in close collaboration with Tech Leads, Engineering Managers, Service Designers within an agile delivery lifecycle.

You will align with Country management and Local Engagement Managers on country-specific product roadmaps (MVPs, Pilots) and timelines for transitions to Go-Live

  • Marketing and Industry insights: You will use data insights to make informed decisions regarding product strategy and execution. You will also conduct indepth market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, user needs, and competitor strategies
  • Communication: You will effectively communicate the strategy with internal and external key stakeholders and the teams involved to get everyone's buy in to ensure the success of the identified strategy. Thereby you have firm standpoints and believes while willing to compromise and manage complex stakeholder relationships

Your profile:


  • A Master's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Business Management, or Digital Media, supplemented by at least one year of experience in product management or a similar role, is required. International degree equivalency is recognized.
Experience must include 12 months of experience in each of the following:


  • Expertise in product management, including requirements gathering and translating these into viable product solutions Creating examples through wireframes and mockups
  • Experience working with crossfunctional teams in a technical setting
  • Background in developing identity managementfocused products
  • Competence in analyzing data sets and running product experiments
  • Strong business acumen with goaloriented decisionmaking abilities.
  • Persuasive communication skills in English, with a track record of engaging diverse stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel
  • Understanding of the construction materials industry is a plus
