About the Job:


We are the global Product Management team in charge of Product Management, Product Strategy, Business Intelligence, Technology & Innovation, and the Engineering Center of Excellence for HARMAN's Automotive division.

Within this steam we are looking for a passionate automotive professional with a mix of strategic and technical mindset who will help us in driving our product related business strategy for our newly defined product spaces.


Join our technology strategy team as Product Execution Strategist - Product Spaces and become a key player in implementing our automotive product strategy.

You will be responsible for working alongside the different product space owners and support them in their push towards market commercialization from a strategic perspective.

You are a key to ensuring HARMAN Automotive's transformation towards consumer experience products at automotive grade quality by working closely with a wide range of departments across the organization.


Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with HARMAN automotives' new product spaces to support in the execution of the recently approved boost plan as part of the 2030 automotive strategy by
  • Closely tracking recent approved boost activities and respective activation plan within each of the product spaces to ensure on time and in quality delivery
  • Understanding and providing solutions for key bottlenecks and roadblocks to be addressed for successful product boost strategy execution
  • Providing strategic guidance on frameworks, methodologies, and tools for the space leads to best incorporate and communicate boost into their paces
  • Facilitating smooth information flow between all relevant stakeholders involved in the boost execution process incl. product management, engineering, marketing, and sales
  • Liaising with the Samsung automotive team in Korea to facilitate close collaboration within the product spaces and the Samsung teams for the boost activities
  • Identifying key learnings across the different product spaces to incorporate for future product space setup and rollouts
  • Highlighting and proposing additional growth opportunities identified throughout the rollout of boost activities to further innovate products along the way

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Excellent university degree or equivalent work experience in engineering or business administration
  • 5+ years automotive industry experience including strategy, product, or project management experience
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders at the same time
  • Good communication skills and ability to motivate and to resolve conflicts
  • Structured, analytical, and critical thinking ability
  • Creative and innovative problem solving skills
  • Selfmotivated and willing to drive things forward
  • Quick grasp and ability to quickly get used to new topics as well as a high degree of flexibility
  • Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications:


  • 2+ years of experience in Strategy Consulting, inhouse consulting, or comparable experience
  • Experience in working in a matrix organization with stakeholders across the globe
  • International work experience
  • Further language skills such as German, Mandarin, or Indian language/dialects are a plus
  • Specific automotive domain knowledge (e.g., Connectivity, ADAS, Cloud, SaaS / SaaP)

  • Be willing to travel up to 20% of domestic and international travel
  • Be willing to work in an office or home office in Garching, Germany or Karlsbad, Germany
