The Hertie School in Berlin prepares exceptional students for leadership positions in government, business, and civil society.

We are looking for a


Postdoctoral Researcher - Central Banks in Difficult Times (gn)
full-time (40 hours per week). The contract shall commence as of 01 October 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.

Requirements:


  • Interest in the political economy of central banking.
  • Proficiency in English. Proficiency other languages is an asset.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.

Desirable skills:


  • Robust coding skills in R or Python.
  • Familiarity with computational text analysis / natural language processing.
  • Applied knowledge of methods of statistical analysis.
