Job Summary/Purpose:

Your Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • The Director, Corporate Publications works with the Global Communications de-partment and other key content stakeholders to create a compelling and consistent annual narrative on our Sandoz purpose, performance and people for key publica-tions that enhance our Sandoz brand and reputation.
  • Develops, coordinates, produces, edits and distributes internal and external materials for key publications including the Annual Report, ESG Report, and others.
  • Creates, implements and adheres to global publication policies that reflect current best publishing practices in accordance with industry and regulatory standards including identifying highrisk activities, and providing riskmitigation steps for publicationrelated activities.
  • Ensures the global implementation of publicationsrelated operations, programs, and support systems.
  • Recruits, guides and oversees publication vendors, contract writers and editors, and other resources necessary to deliver highquality publications.
  • Maintains close working relationships with the Global Communications department and other key content stakeholders to ensure alignment, effective management, and appropriate contribution to publications.
  • Establish and oversee all publication budgets and resource planning to ensure adequate support and flawless execution.
  • Travels in support of publications activities, as needed.

Minimum requirements

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Post-secondary degree in media/publications, communications, journalism, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Corporate publications (such as Annual Reports, ESG reports, etc.) for healthcare companies with more than one billion in annual sales
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with ability to work proactively and independently
  • Ability to multitask and balance multiple priorities as well as tight deadlines
  • Resilient under pressure, with highlevel of awareness regarding impact on others
  • Social media and content development experience
  • Strong business acumen
  • Demonstrated project management experience delivering on time and on budget
  • Experience working in a multicultural, diverse, matrixed, international environment
  • Excellent relationship management and influencing skills, and track record of success in a matrix environment
  • Strong writer with a proven track record and passion for communicating clear, concise and compelling messages
  • Excellent English language skills required; fluency in other languages, such as German, French, an advantage
  • Pharmaceuticals industry experience preferred
  • Experience in reputation management, preferred
  • Occasional travel required
