Internship UX Research (f/m/x)

Tasks:


  • You will investigate & map endtoend workflows for laboratory solutions (including instruments, software, supplies & services)
  • Develop research plans, including participant recruiting, logistics (e.g., testing setup) and select appropriate methods to accomplish the research goal.
  • Plan, conduct, analyze and present user research activities, such as observations, workflow analysis, interviews, usability tests and usability inspections.
  • Document asis scenarios into research repository and develop personas, user journey maps, usescenarios and affinity diagrams.
  • Summarize gained insights into clear user requirements to support project teams to make evidencebased design decisions
  • Support of our team in developing processes and methods to enable projects to conduct user research and usability evaluations regularly and efficient
  • Support the education of different stakeholders in the company about UX research and methodologies by your work

Qualifications:


Your Profile:

  • Analytical thinker with a positive attitude, a creative mindset and desire to learn
  • Skilled storyteller with great communication skills, good in crafting compelling presentations
  • Strong team player with enthusiasm to engage with colleagues & project teams
  • Able to work independently in complex product environments & workflows
  • Good knowledge about the Human Centered Design Process (ISO
  • Technical affinity
  • Fluency in English or German necessary (having both is considered a plus)

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • CPUX-F certification, Nielsen Norman UX certificate or similar
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development process
  • Interest in Life Sciences and the laboratory processes & environment
  • Experience in building prototypes or mockups (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma or hardware prototypes)
  • Familiarity with design systems
