Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a


Project Management Officer (PMO) A320 Family Final Assembly Line (d/f/m):
located in
Hamburg with a possible start date of
July 2023 or later.

In this position you will be a member of the
Project Management Office A320 Family FAL Team.


Our department is in charge of supporting key projects in the Final Assembly Line (FAL) in Hamburg and spreading the PM (Project/Program management) culture in all Airbus.

The service covers different areas such as Project Management, Portfolio Management and/or Performance Management within the A320 Family Final Assembly Line.


As a Project Management Officer (PMO) you will work on a major project within the A320 Family Final Assembly Line perimeter and support the project leader in addressing challenges and issues coming from the aircraft production in all PM-disciplines.

You will work in a transnational organization with interfaces to Final Assembly Line and other departments.


Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

  • You support the project leader in his accountability to achieve time, cost, quality and performance objectives
  • You set up a harmonized and efficient project management processes and methods across the project to enable strong project execution and secure demonstrated performance versus targeted/planned achievements
  • You establish endtoend planning for the project as well as perform its tracking in relationship with the stakeholders
  • You establish risk & opportunities management to anticipate issues and risks of the project: supporting identification sessions, assessment of deviations and mitigation plan definition/drumbeat
  • You initiate and maintain the overall master schedule together with project leaders
  • You translate customer requests into a clear deliverable and include them into the project plan

Desired skills and qualifications

  • Educated to a Master's degree in Aerospace Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or similar
  • Proven project
- and portfolio management skills, ideally PM Certification

  • Very good knowledge of the Final Assembly Line perimeter
  • Experience in working with project management tools (incl. planning and risk Management)
  • GSuite is something you have already worked with
