ABOUT THE ROLE:


We're looking for a motivated and driven Director of People & Culture (M/F/d) who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

The Director of People & Culture will be responsible for driving people and business initiatives across the company.

This role is both hands-on and strategic: you will be contributing to the areas of performance management, recruiting, employee retention, coaching and development, and will also get involved in ad hoc projects if necessary.


WHAT WE NEED YOU TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

  • Experience: Several years of experience in the HR field and in a comparable management position with a clear focus on Human Resource Management. Experience in SaaS or start/scale-up environment is a must. Experience with working in a global environment, including management of people topics coming from EMEA and the US region.
  • HR Strategy: You have a strategic mindset with great skills in organizational development. You love working in a dynamic & fastpaced environment and know how to motivate your team to reach new heights.
  • People development: You have a proven track record of creating and implementing strategies that support the growth and development of employees and foster a culture of continuous learning.
  • Business acumen: An intuition for business and an understanding of the financial implications of People initiatives is one of your strengths.
  • Company culture: You are a trusted partner that shapes company culture and ensures that all our employees feel valued, supported, and inspired.
  • Coaching & Mentorship: You know how to create a strong team feeling, have great coaching skills, and value trust and cooperation.
  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and HR initiatives simultaneously.

  • Languages: Fluent English is a must, German fluency will be considered a plus

ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:

  • Lead a team of 7 People Partners, Talent Acquisition Mangers, and People Ops specialists by organizing clear responsibilities and enabling the division to be recognized as a value-adding partner.
  • Be a role model for your team and demonstrate how to achieve operational excellence every day.
  • Enable your team to deliver at their best and be true partners to the business, by handson removing all impediments in their business areas.
  • Be a part of the senior management team, reporting directly to the founders, and act as a trusted and assertive partner on all things peoplerelated including performance management, coaching, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Be responsible for the design and delivery of the global Talon.
One people's strategy and ensure a pragmatic implementation of the people roadmap.

  • Lead the development of the division goals, and make sure the goals are aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Promote organizational change through timely communication and direction.
  • Lead the collection of various types of employee data, including employee surveys and performance reviews, to identify trends and recommend solutions to improve performance and engagement.
  • Ensure workforce and succession planning as well as settingup longterm capabilities and provide guidance regarding business unit restructurings.
  • Collaborate with our lawyers to maintain indepth knowledge of legal requirements related to the daytoday management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Take a leadership role in developing an organizational culture consistent with our international remotefirst approach the Talon.
