YOUR TASKS

Project & stateoftheart review and learning how to work with the project toolchain
Load comparison of the configured tool chain with reference data, e.g., field data or simulation with dynamic wake meandering (DWM), to identify the accuracy of the wind farm simulation model
Engineering modelling solution to compensate the missing wakeadded loading source and to validate the wind farm simulation model
Build of a surrogate load model based on the validated tool chain

YOUR PROFILE

A relevant study in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, engineering physics, or control engineering with relevant background/interest in wind energy
Experience with MATLAB/simulink
Experience in Python programming is desirable
Experience of using aeroelastic simulation codes, e.g., FAST or Bladed, considered as a plus
Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
