Your profile:

As a Vice president (VP) of marketing, you will shape our future brand strategy by leading our marketing team of 5 people (3 employees based in Berlin and 2 in the US).

You are a strong leader eager to drive and define our marketing strategy by handling strategic brand management, reviewing budgets, setting and achieving targets, conducting market research, helping maintain an appropriate image of the company and establishing relationships with media and customers.

You are part of the management Team and directly report to the CEO and the COO. Your key stakeholders will be the Companies Board, the Management Team and our professional advisors.

Your main responsibilities:

Leading our marketing and lead generation team in the US and Europe
Analyzing existing branding and marketing strategies and implementing necessary improvements
Setting daily, weekly, monthly and yearly targets (OKRs), and implementing various incentives to ensure they are achieved
Monthly/ quarterly/ annually reporting of the performance to the CEO and COO
Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and yearly budgets, and allocating resources appropriately per channel
Conducting market research and design new strategies based on findings
Defining the best strategy and resources to acquire leads, MQLs and SQLs according to our verticals and personas
Defining and reviewing content. Nurturing campaigns to develop campaign concepts that will resonate with our prospective buyers and customers
Improving our paid campaigns (Linkedin, Google, medias) based on content strategy and budget
Managing the communication with the press, partners, influencers and customers
Supervising marketing events and launches and using these as a way to network with industry professionals
Working closely with Sales and Product teams to align on the company strategy and needs
Closely monitoring competitors' successes and failures and learning from them

What you should bring

You have a BSc or Master's degree in Marketing, Branding, Business, PR, or a similar field
You have acquired extensive experience in a similar role in B2B /Saas industry preferably with an engineering background
You have superb marketing, content and research skills
You have minimum 3 years management experience
You have knowledge and experience in SEO, digital marketing tools (Hubspot), and related software
You are a good observant, structured and analytical person
You are a strong leader and have the ability to make difficult decisions
You have excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills
You have a strong attitude to get things done
You have a deep affinity with engineering (advanced manufacturing) who has an understanding of our business
You are not afraid of being a handson multitasker who thrives in a competitive environment.
