Product Development

The story begins:

You get an overview of all phases of product development from the idea to the production release
You support the creation of technical product date sheets and ensure accuracy of those tech packs at all stages
You will work with other departments such as design, product management and pattern department
You support the internal communication and the communication with international suppliers
You will gain insight into Jack Wolfskin's quality standards and fit requirements and can contribute your expertise through your active participation in fittings, measuring samples and commenting on development and sales samples
You create 3D style sketches and support the process of fit inspection and optimization using 3D software (Browzwear)
Further support of the development team in other organizational and administrative matters

Your proven path:

Ongoing or recently completed studies in clothing technology, têxtile technology or fashion design
Knowledge of production garment construction and manufacturing
You have a good sense of fit and aesthetics, combined with a quick comprehension, an organizational talent and a resultoriented way of working
Strong computer skills, MS office and Adobe Illustrator
Great interest and first experiences with 3D clothing software
Desire to work independently and contribute your own ideas
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Positive attitude and enthusiasm for outdoor activities
