- Initiate charge back from suppliers aligned with Purchasing and Finance
- Define a strategy for easy cost collection across locations
- Collect and analyze cost data to generate detailed reports
- Track expenditures related to field actions against budget
- Implement cost control processes and best practices
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards
- Participate in meetings focused on field actions and recalls
- Engage in cross-functional communication and collaboration
- Facilitate the implementation of cost control measures
- Support negotiations with suppliers for cost recovery
- Achieve high supplier charge back acceptance rates
- Drive quick decision making for cost recovery
- Technical degree in economics, accounting, finance, or similar field
- Experience in Quality Management within the Automotive Industry
- 5-7 years of experience in cost management and recovery processes
- Strong understanding of field actions and recalls
- Proficient in financial analysis and reporting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Let's talk about the Quality Cost Engineer role at INEOS Automotive! Since the launch of Project Grenadier in 2017, our team has been rapidly growing. We've successfully introduced our first vehicle, the INEOS Grenadier, to the market in just five years and now we're gearing up for our first all-electric vehicle. With approximately 1500 employees representing 44 nationalities, we are a diverse and dynamic international team that values ownership, quality work, and collaboration.
Your role: As a Quality Cost Engineer, you will be in charge of managing costs related to field measures globally. This involves leading teams to gather and accurately record costs, collaborating with various departments, and identifying opportunities for cost recovery. Your success will be measured by your ability to collect costs in a timely manner and work closely with teams across different functions.
