As Business Architect at DCS you perform a strategic role to make DCS more agile and productive. Your contribution is critical in structuring the business with respect to governance, business processes, and business information. You work directly with the CTO, his technical management team, CPO and the Operations functions. You ensure the clear link of initiatives of the technical roadmap with strategic company goals. Aligning and communicating the roadmap is part of your mission to include management, stakeholders, and teams, respectively.

Your mission:

Planing and designing business architecture strategy based on carefully scrutinizing IoT and FinTech business scenarios and motivations as drivers for our target architecture
Aligning with technical architects on implementation strategy
Defining critical nonfunctional requirements that are important for scale, flexibility, response time, and availability to drive a costefficient technical roadmap
Cooperating with Engineering Managers to foster a highly automated SDLC for continuous delivery
Building strategic, core and support processes that stretch beyond functional and organizational boundaries
Defining data shared across the business and their interrelation
Ensuring alignment between roles, capabilities, and business units

Your profile:

Degree in Computer Science or relevant experience
Deep knowledge of Design Patterns, especially on Enterprise Application Architecture patterns
At least 35 years of experience as an architect
Motivation to deep dive into business models, Business Model generation
Capability to deal with interdependency with a systemic approach to technical architecture & organizational setup
Familiarity with Conway's Law, team topologies, or any other team alignment activities will come in handy
Ability to communicate complex architectural topics by story telling
