Key job responsibilities

  • SAFETY
Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and diligently encourage a world-class safety culture. As a facility owner team, ensure remediation of safety risks/issues in conjunction with other teams. Own the safety initiatives and projects to foster strong safety culture.

  • ENGINEERING & FACILITY OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANC


Operational experience and familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS's), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS's), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), and Transformers.


  • Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
  • Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/logtaking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)
  • Supervise contractor or Engineering Operations Technicians to ensure proper operation and maintenance of all facility equipment.
  • Driving continuous improvement efforts on infrastructure through standardization of procedures and policies, while delivering performance against agreed metrics.
  • Provide training and guidance to Engineering Operations Technicians and assist in
recruiting efforts.

Lead the root cause analysis for operational issues, and conduct meetings with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to finalize mitigation strategies.


  • Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations).
  • Ability to work shifts (morning, late and night)
  • Oncall rotation reaction to offduty emergency calls

Frankfurt, HE, DEU

  • Data Center engineering or Jobrelated experience.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical with Engineering or relevant discipline and proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Familiar with Building Management System (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring System (EPMS) control systems and data collection/trending.
