How you will contribute

You will work alongside the Logistics Pillar and DP World regional operations to drive change within Group Technology.
You will work primarily alongside Operations Excellence as well as other functions including Operations, Finance, HR, Sales, and Procurement as needed.
You will work to support leaders on performance for your BU.
You will work closely within the senior IT shared services leadership team (Applications, Governance, Transformation, Backoffice) to ensure collaboration and alignment with solutions and services
You will work closely with Group Technology Head Office on the execution of strategic initiatives
You will maintain good relationship with procurement and finance to support DP World policies and processes
You will support Group Compliance, Group People, Legal in support of DP World policies and legal requirements in DP World business region.
You will maintain open communication with all key IT and business leaders to ensure top level IT service delivery

What you will bring

Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Databricks and machine learning.
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala(Pyspark preferred).
Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and libraries.
Solid understanding of data modelling concepts and best practices.
Handson experience with cloud platforms (Azure).
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.
Databricks Associate Certification required.
Experience with big data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark).
Knowledge and experience in using the MS Azure Analytics Services, especially Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory as well as MS Purview
Power BI knowledge preferred.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
