The Build & Release division is part of our CTO organization.

As part of the leadership team in this area, you will lead a group of CI/CD Engineers to build highly available and scalable systems and empower our product teams to release, improve and expand our portfolio of products and services for musicians, music producers and DJ's across the globe.

As the Team Lead for the CI/CD team, reporting directly to the Engineering Director, you'll spend your time contributing to team health, hands-on development work within the team, as well as the overall development portfolio strategy.

Your first responsibility is to be a Servant Leader for the people on your team. You'll be part of a management group that represents all skillsets of our product development teams.

What You'll Do:

Lead and align a group of talented and motivated engineers across Berlin and Boston
Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of your team members
Support us in aligning with Software Development teams and working out best practices and guidelines for e.g. build workflows, version control or automated testing. Help develop and evangelize great engineering practices across the global teams
Align and collaborate closely with our Product Managers and Tech Leads to ensure a high performing crossfunctional team
Facilitate collaboration, communication and support decisionmaking within the teams
Help plan and form teams that are collaborative, inclusive, and respectful
Work with our Talent Acquisition team to attract, onboard and retain engineers from diverse backgrounds

What You'll Need:

You bring experience as a People Manager in Tech, leading, coaching and mentoring Engineers
You are knowledgeable and passionate about design, implementation and operation of cloud and onpremise infrastructure, distributed systems and services
Experience with continuous improvement and agile software delivery processes
You are a great communicator and facilitator who loves collaborating and empowering others
Excellent English communication skills, German is a plus
