Berlin Office | Hybrid Working | Full-Time Permanent Role

About the Role

  • Lead and extend Trailstone's origination presence in France
  • Customer outreach and deal origination
  • Analysis of customer needs and market dynamics to create profitable structures
  • Collaborate with the portfolio management and quant teams to understand and challenge analyses
  • Liaise with the relevant internal functions to mobilise resources and drive the deals
  • Coordinate customer meetings, calls and internal deal reviews

About You


To be successful in this position, you must have the gravitas to gather and present the insight and data to support your recommendations on the French market and the ability to quickly grasp how Trailstone drives business.

You should have excellent organisation skills, be able to lead on establishing an international office and defining key project milestones.

You should exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills, coupled with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional quality of work.

In addition, we are looking for somebody with the following:


Requirements:


  • A deep contact book among French energy traders, asset owners and other industry players
  • Knowledge of renewable power, balancing, offtake structures and other structured products
  • Strong understanding of Power markets in Europe
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Creative and analytical
  • Must be wellorganized, and able to selfmanage deals and initiatives
  • Gas, REC, CO2 and other market knowledge a plus

Other Attributes:

  • Possess an outgoing, friendly disposition and professional demeanor
  • Ability to translate customer needs and market analytics into deal structures
  • Understanding of the front office structure to help align and influence deals
  • Creatively solve credit, legal, and other operational roadblocks
  • Knowledge of regulatory and policy trends
