Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services.

With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).


What you will learn and contribute to
Are you passionate about solving problems?

As part of our team, you will join RAN CIS (Customer Intervention and Support) team within Nokia's Mobile Networks / RAN Business Unit and you will be responsible for technically supporting a team of System&SW Delivery organization performing NOKIA RAN products NPI (New Product Introduction), validation and support by using specific configurations targeted by customers.

As a part of this team, a System support specialist is strongly needed as Technical expert to drive especially the 5G projects business:

  • Technically supporting analysis to solve customer issues during NPI project/pilot phase incl. autonomous handling related task force projects
  • Managing customer project support for complex 5G/4G customer cases with various stakeholders in R&D, Service business unit with Local RBC and NPO teams
  • Creating acceptance test cases/concepts for new features and also in verifying them in lab and field.
  • Analyzing faults in customer networks and advising R&D and service teams
  • Coaching of peers and the enabling of service teams on selected features in the new technologies.
  • Work closely with R&D and testing teams to investigate product faults and drive correcting process
  • Technically lead Task Force teams with R&D and local customer teams in customer escalation cases
  • Use and extend proactive troubleshooting measures, focused on 5G products with strong interworking with 4G/LTE
  • Mentor customer teams on technical NPI new feature introduction and performance topics

Your skills and experience

You have these qualitifications:

  • Professional, indepth technical background in mobile radio systems in mobile radio technologies with focus on 5G and/or LTE Radio, U and C plane knowhow, best based on 5G, LTE and E2E system & performance experience
  • Understand customer targets on introduction of new 5G and/or LTE releases and acceptance testing in customers lab and field and explain solutions to customers/customer teams
  • Expertise in feature testing in lab or live network required
  • Expertise in CT or NPO organization desired
  • Technical project lead experience in a fast paced environment desired
  • Solid O&M knowhow required
