Your Role:


The Healthcare R&D Digital & Data Transformation Organization shapes the digitization of our R&D integrated portfolio planning and execution system (iMAP) for our global Healthcare R&D functions.

You will join an experienced, business-facing team and work in a collaborative, and results-oriented environment.


With a deep understanding of Pharma R&D Project and Portfolio Management and excellent knowledge of Planisware functionality, the Associate Director - Project & Portfolio Management Systems (Planisware) will play a key role in upgrading and simplifying the R&D Portfolio Management System, by implementing Planisware and R&D Project Management standard methodologies.


Based on the business process and data experts needs, you will prototype, design, configure and develop the R&D Portfolio Planning system along with the team and demonstrate your expertise in Planisware technology.

You are responsible for maintaining the R&D Portfolio Planning System data model, improving and reducing customizations and supporting the upgrade, analysis and migration into SaaS.

You will also be responsible for refining and updating user documentation of system configurations.


Who you are:


  • Degree in technical field, preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering
  • Proficiency in software programming, especially SQL. R skills a plus
  • In depth knowledge of Planisware software features and functionality, configuration tools, and the Planisware data model (Planisware core/advanced certification is a plus)
  • Demonstrate a learning mentality, and a track record of continuously building R&D domain knowledge and relevant technical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication in English (Knowledge of German is beneficiary)
  • Detail oriented, collaborative, and usercentric attitude
  • IT project management experience a plus; PMP (or equivalent) certification is desirable #inclusion
