Travelzoo is seeking a Head of Marketing to join our team in Berlin or Munich on a permanent contract.

The marketing team is responsible for acquiring and retaining Travelzoo members; increasing brand awareness through public relations, social media and brand marketing; and elevating our brand perception across everything that we do.

The team also establishes Travelzoo as a thought leader in the travel industry and increases B2B demand for our products and services in partnership with our sales teams.


Do you feel...

  • Excited to support the team with campaign planning, coordination and implementation across all key marketing and PR channels including affiliates, search, display, and press
  • Confident in working with freelancers and/or agencies to develop campaign assets and ensure they conform to brand guidelines
  • Ready to manage daytoday campaign reporting and analysis to support decision making
  • Motivated to deploy a testandlearnapproach to inform strategic thinking and ultimately deliver against KPIs
  • Experienced in planning, creating, and scheduling content for all major social media platforms to drive traffic and engagement
  • Capable of troubleshooting and making editorial decisions about how and what to post on social media during periods of quickchanging information
  • Ready to respond and interact with our member community to build brand loyalty
  • Able to keep up to date with social media and digital marketing developments and drive channel innovation
  • Motivated to get involved in all contentmarketing initiatives to support team objectives and priorities
  • Keen to support with the planning and preparation of key trade partner events
  • Enthused to collaborate with crossfunctional and global colleagues to coordinate and align on key projects

You are ideally

  • Degree educated (Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, or Hospitality)
  • A rising professional with 35 years of experience, including direct experience in a related field (Digital Media, Advertising)
  • A highperformance thinker with a strong work ethic and sound judgement
  • An excellent verbal and written communicator
  • Comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative insights to understand user behavior
