The Delivery Leader - Payments and Cards Migrations is a senior level role, requiring comprehensive prior experience of migrating end-to-end critical and highly available cards and other forms of payments services across the platforms without compromising the required availability and customer experience.

It is an individual contributor role with coordination across the whole product and tech organisation. You will also be customer facing and so there will be coordination with customers and international card schemes too.


Overview of tasks:

  • Executing migrationrelated activities towards the customer and program, including coordinating related activities and deliverables.
  • Being responsible for migration and cutover planning, coordination and execution
  • Writing high quality technical solution documents and migration runbook
  • Synchronizing migration dependencies and tasks with overall customer delivery project and streams
  • Internal and external migration communication, governance and standards
  • Propose technical solutions and serving as an arbiter to influence their acceptance across the stakeholders
  • Supporting customer specific migration and testing strategy.
  • Reviewing functional and full cycle testing reports, prepare migration and golive recommendation reports
  • Working closely with product management, group technology and product engineering to collect all needed inputs
  • As you will be responsible for international customer implementations, some of level of travelling would be required
  • Qualifications

What makes you the best person for this job?

  • Significant IT industry experience with a major part of it within the
    payments industry, either in internal positions or as a consultant
  • Specific and direct prior experience with
    cards and payments services, perhaps as a a solution architect or solution consultant
  • Knowledge on
    migration methodologies, best practices and payments processing
  • Technical project management experience, and a relevant certification like PMP, would also be beneficial
  • Knowledge or certification in working with agile methodologies (e.g. SCRUM and SAFe)
  • Degree in IT / Computer Science or a closely related field
