- IT Security Specialist CERT (m/f/d)

- Successfully completed scientific university studies in the field of IT security/computer science or a comparable field of study
- Comprehensive understanding of cyber attack methods, detection and defense measures
- Experience in the use of various security tools and technologies is an advantage
- Ability to perform risk-based assessment of vulnerabilities and cyber risks
- Very good written and spoken German language skills
- High level of commitment and strong service orientation

- Incident Detection and Response: You analyze security events, detect security incidents and cyber attacks and coordinate response actions
- Vulnerability Assessment: You carry out investigations to uncover vulnerabilities in IT systems and create corresponding action plans
- Expansion of the security infrastructure: you develop and implement solutions for the security monitoring of new IT infrastructures and systems
- Security advisories: you are up-to-date with current security threats and cyber risks and develop concepts and recommendations to strengthen IT security
- Security Consulting: As an expert, you will use your specialist knowledge to support other departments at the university and advise on IT security projects
