Minimum 15 ans

  • Postgraduate diploma
  • 12 to 15 years' professional experience, including 5 years on permitting for major infrastructure projects in the marine environment, with proven experience in offshore wind energy
  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
  • Experience in stakeholder management
  • Experience of public consultations and permitting of offshore wind project in Germany is a must
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • An excellent ability to summarize and express yourself both orally and in writing
  • Excellent organisational skills

Activités

TotalEnergies has been awarded by the Bundesnetzagentur (German Federal Network Agency) two marine concessions and is now seeking
two (2) Head of Development to locally reinforce its strong Offshore Wind team.

The Head of Development is also responsible for:

  • establishing the development plan and structure the development team
- with the Asset Director, the management of external stakeholders (administrative authorities, regional and local representatives, private stakeholders, representatives of business sectors or civil society, etc.)
- establishing and monitoring the environmental measures applicable to projects during their lifetime
- leading the implementation of socio-economic, tourism and fisheries development measures taken by the projects

As a key role in offshore wind projects during the development phase, the Head of Development is responsible for:

  • Managing the development team in accordance with the project budget, schedule, and objectives
  • Establishing and implementing the permitting strategy with the support of the technical teams, and in line with the Health, Social, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSSEQ) procedures of the affiliate and TotalEnergies.
  • Responsibility for submitting and obtaining the necessary authorizations within the timetable imposed by the terms of the Wind Energy at Sea Act ("WindSeeG") and the local regulations.
  • Representing the Project(s) to the administrative authorities and key stakeholders. He/She shares responsibility with the Asset Director for highlevel contacts.
  • Defining and implementing the Project(s)' stakeholder engagement strategy and social and economic commitments
  • Interfacing and coordinating with the other project teams for permitting purposes and social and economic commitments
  • Managing permitting consulting contract(s) with external party/ies.

He/She plays the key role in the management of multiple stakeholders, which is critical to the successful execution and acceptance of offshore wind projects.

The team will ultimately be based in Germany with an office to be opened in Hamburg. The position will be based in Germany with frequent travels to Paris.
