The Position:

As Senior Technical Assistant in the field of Drug Metabolism Sciences (DMS), you will be responsible as LC MS expert for the independent implementation of authorization-relevant metabolism work packages.

In this context, you will work in the laboratory, with a focus on LC-MSn-based structure education, on in vivo and in vitro studies and help to elucidate the drug metabolism of developing substances.

This position is part time eligible with 70 %.

Tasks & responsibilities:

The structure elucidation, identification, and quantification of metabolites based on LC-MSn data and LCbased radioactivity data will be one of your key tasks.
In addition to the data evaluation, you will document all your work according to laboratory standards and cooperate in the preparation of approvalrelevant reports in English. For example, you will create method descriptions, illustrations and tables according to internal specifications.
In addition, you will critically question existing processes, cooperate in their continuous improvement or help to develop new work processes. You will be responsible for the independent technical support of various highresolution LC-MS systems in combination with radioactivity detection to ensure the performance permanently.

Requirements:

Very good knowledge of sample preparation of biological matrices, highresolution mass spectrometry, ion mobility and interpretation of MSn spectra for structure elucidation
Experience in practical work in a biochemical laboratory and independent, selfresponsible working methods
Basic knowledge of drug metabolism
Strong ability for teamwork, selfmotivation, performanceoriented thinking and flexibility to work together within the group Strong communication skills and very good knowledge of German and English in both written and spoken language
