The Role & Key Responsibilities:
As an associate in the Business Management department, you will be responsible for:

  • BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
  • Generate timesheets as and when required by team.
  • Analysis and reporting of chargeability percentage to management and query to responsible person
  • Ensure that all resource card is updated in respect of chargeable rate, block resource card for staffs who left the Company
  • Monitoring of monthly cap time and advise on billing
  • Assist on treasury function in respect of clients
  • Responsible to complete winding up process on a bundle of clients
  • Assist in compliance reporting
  • Generate various reports from system as per request
  • Follow up with team on monthly reporting in respect of TRC renewal
  • Ensure that termination checklist is filed on a monthly basis with Global team
  • Be responsible to manage Debtors
  • Assist in keeping Director's list up to date
  • Follow up on any report as per request from team
  • MNS/CBRIS
  • Manage MNS/CBRIS access for AFCS staffs and be responsible to follow process
  • Be responsible to deactivate leavers access with regulator
  • Assist operation team regarding access on clients
Qualifications and skills required

  • Minimum a degree in Finance/Business Management from a recognized institution and/or a professional qualification from a recognized body (ACCA,ACA,ICAEW)
  • At least 4 years' experience in performing finance or accounting role
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to accounting software
  • Ability to work on odd hours as and when required given the nature of the business
  • Strong interpersonal and good communication skills
  • Be responsible for any tasks related to business management
  • Ability to deliver on tight deadlines
  • Good soft and interpersonal skillsets
  • Good leadership skills when required
  • Excellent time management and planning skills to deliver against agreed deadlines and objectives
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Adaptable and flexible to changes
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, analytical, technical, organisational, and problemsolving skills
  • Proactive and have the knowledge and skills to use own initiative in handling clients' queries and escalate to management when required.
