We insure what's important to us In dib we have an independent insurance broker agency focused on transport liability and law, as well as international insurance programs, directly within the deugro group.

If you thought that insurance and everything having to do with it is a dry and boring industry, you haven't spoken to the colleagues in dib yet.

Become a part of our international dib team in Hamburg, Germany. For the next possible date we are looking for you in fulltime as Insurance Broker.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Taking Care of the worldwide insurances for the group and the claims handling on a global level
Assessing shipping contracts with our international clients, as well as risk assessment and minimization from the very beginning
Responsible for reviewing contracts in the area of international project logistics with regards to insurable risks and existing global policies in place
You are the goto person in times of emergency and support cases of damages on an international level
Responsible for negotiations with underwriting agencies and insurance companies
Collaboration with the entire deugro group and internal specialist departments

What you can contribute:

Some years of experience in the area of Freight Forwarder ́s & Carrier ́s Liability Insurance and Marine Cargo Insurance
Underwriting and cargo claims handling experience
Experience in P&I is appreciated, but not a must
These qualities characterize you: analytical, resultsdriven, assertiveness, team

- and customer-oriented

Excellent communications skills (crossfunctional and crosscultural)
Professional English and German skills, both written and verbal
