The Opportunity:

As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don't. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We're looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe.


Develop operational and environmental effects assessment information products, decision briefings, and analytical papers, and directly support planning teams to enable operational planning and senior leadership decisions.

Contribute assessment inputs to developing plans, concepts of operation, or execution vignettes which integrate and synchronize the full spectrum of multi-domain or joint information-related and non-kinetic capabilities, including employment of cyberspace, space, IJSTO, and SAP.

Lead construction and maintenance of a comprehensive operational effects planning and assessment capability.

Support Assessments Working Groups, Information Operations Working Groups, and other staff activities that support assessments of non-kinetic effects, operations, and activities.

Provide actionable, clearly communicated recommendations to support client operational planning and operational decisions. This position is located in Stuttgart, Germany.

You Have:


  • 6+ years of experience in operational effects planning and assessment
  • Experience with analyzing multifaceted situations, drawing conclusions, and providing timely and relevant recommendations to senior leaders
  • Experience with developing operational assessment methodologies, including influence operations, metrics, and decision criteria
  • Experience with focused stakeholder data collection design and engagement
  • Experience with leveraging scientific methods to inform qualitative and quantitative analyses and leveraging critical thinking techniques
  • Experience with using automated statistical packages in support of analysis projects, including MS Excel or Access
  • Experience with preparing and presenting compelling, decisionquality senior leadership briefings and reports
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Master's degree in Operations Research, Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Applied Social Science

Nice If You Have:


  • Experience as an FA30 Information Operations officer or Service equivalent
  • Experience with working on a Joint Interagency Task Force
  • Experience with cyberspace operations, electronic warfare, IJSTO, MISO/PSYOP expeditionary operations, OPSEC/MILDEC, Joint Planning, operations to build partner capacity, security assistance, security cooperation, and interagency coordination
  • Experience with allsource intelligence analysis, intelligence operations, or targeting
  • Experience within the theater
