InFactory Solutions GmbH (InFy) is a 100% Airbus subsidiary, part of Testia Group, located in the Munich Area. InFy develops solutions for automated quality inspection of aircraft components during manufacturing.

Our multidisciplinary team groups competence fields from software, mechanical, and electrical engineering.

Our challenge is to generalize sensor solutions, especially machine vision systems, for highly variable component geometries, surface qualities, and materials.

All of this in a multicultural and collaborative environment

We use in-house-built sensors, customized cameras, or laser profilometers for defect detection and object measurement. Using a large amount of data (images, height profiles, robot positions) generated from various sources (e. g., cameras, robot) and synchronized through the pipelines, our in-house built software can provide interfaces to meet different requirements.

We also see ourselves as the advocate of raising AI acceptance in a safety-critical industry like aerospace.

To broaden the expansion of our teams in Munich and Toulouse, we are looking for an
Accuracy Specialist (f/m/d) in Munich now.

What you'll do

Calibrating existing vision systems (component level calibration, e.g., intrinsics )
Understand and trace system in accuracy source s ; determine systemlevel accuracy and repeatability, e.g., extrins ics
Help to define test procedures for the verification of a complex system
Help design from scratch or improve the existing vision system from the optical perspective, e.g., using lenses to guide optical paths

What you'll bring**- M aster's or Ph.
D. in m athematics, optical physics, metrology, computer science, or a comparable field of study

Experience in optical physics and/or using optical component s extensively
Ability to decompose complex issues into small solvable blocks and explain them in plain language
Knowledge in robotic s, machine vision, or computer vision is a plus
Fluency in English or German is required
