Siemens Energy has an electrical panel manufacturing facility in Boonton NJ and is looking for a suitably qualified and energetic Service Engineer to install components, wire terminations, testing and diagnosis of electrical cabinets for GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear).

How You'll Make an Impact
Service Engineer will support the business by being able to bring their skills to the overall team. They will mainly be in Boonton NJ but will get opportunities to travel to customer sites

What You Bring

Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Be able to run wires within electrical cabinets
Be able to terminate wires, cleanly and consistently
Proficient in pointtopoint wire checks
Be able to install electrical components (terminals, relays, MCB;s etc)
Be able to test electrical circuits and diagnose faults
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employersponsored work authorization.

About the Team
The GIS team sells, engineers, and builds high voltage gas insulated substations for customers in the US.

The control panels are vital to the operation of the equipment and the Service Engineer will be vital to this process.
