We, the BMW Group, offer you an interesting and varied internship in the area of Data Driven Development in Sensor Fusion for Autonomous Driving.

What awaits you?

You develop a data reader pipeline for diverse datasets to enable Machine Learningbased approaches for environmental modeling and objectives in autonomous driving.
You are responsible for developing efficientinterfaces and strategies to cope with large amounts of diverse data points.
Defining quality control measures and identifying bottlenecks and defects is also part of the work.
You perform proof of concept evaluations on DNN models for different tasks (Object Detection,Semantic/Panoptic Segmentation, Depth Estimation).
You get the opportunity to explore data selectiontasks in the context of Active Learning to investigateapplicability of tracking models for data efficient training.

What should you bring along?

Knowledge of Machine Learning methods, DNN, aswell as Python and common Deep Learning libraries.
Previous experiences on training and validatingmodels for tasks in autonomous driving is a plus.
