A Day in a Life

As Inside Sales Representative you will be a key member of our Genetic Analysis sales team serving our Biotech and Research customers in one of our UK territories.

This role is focused on rapidly growing our best-in-class consumables portfolio of qPCR/CE Sequencing and Microarray solutions.

To achieve success you will need to forge positive relationships within the existing customer base and develop new business opportunities.

What Will You Do?:

Identify and close sales opportunities to archieve sales_ _targets
Prospect for new business opportunities
Build internal/ external networks and maximize collaboration via our CRM system
Utilise account and territory planning tools
Forecasting large deal pipeline and run rate business
Up to 20% travel within sales territory and attend regular offsite internal meetings
Develop appropriate selling skills consistent with Thermo Fisher Scientific's philosophy, policies, and procedures

Who Are We Looking For:

Minimum BSc in Life Sciences
Experience in a sales role is beneficial but not essential
Knowledge of the Genetic Analysis workflow and market
Strong interpersonal and relationship development skills
Demonstrate a positive demeanor and desire to succeed
Exhibits a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a constantly evolving business environment
Digital literacy in MS Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint or similar programs required
Proficient in German
