Circular economy faces a new challenge through electro-mobility: even after years of usage in an electric vehicle, a battery hasn't reached the end of its lifetime.

In re-use, re-manufacturing, and re-cycling, there are opportunities for a sustainable further use.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Enterprise Architect, you will design and leading all aspects of the implementation of the enterprise architecture for our battery end-of-life data layer.

Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, vision, and roadmap
Collaborate closely with the Product Team to understand business needs, challenges, and requirements, and translate them into technology solutions and architectural designs as guidelines for the global development teams
Define and document architectural standards, principles, and guidelines to ensure consistency, integration, and scalability.
Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the current IT landscape, identifying integration points, gaps, and proposing solutions to optimize system integration and performance.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, platforms, and frameworks, keeping scalability and rapid growth in mind.
Continuously monitor the evolving technology landscape and industry trends, to inform architecture decisions and recommend improvements.

You will have impact to move the world forward

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
Some years of experience as an Enterprise Architect, with a proven track record in designing and implementing scalable enterprise architectures.
Strong, longstanding knowledge of modern programming languages, platforms, technologies, frameworks, architectural approaches, and design principles for software and API development and for building CI/CD pipelines, such as Java, Kotlin, Python, React, AngularJS, AWS native, Openshift, Kubernetes, Oracle, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, gRPC, Jenkins, Tekton, ArgoCD, Ansible and microservices, service meshing, RESTful APIs, etc.
Proficiency in evaluating and selecting appropriate technologies, platforms, and frameworks for enterpriselevel solutions.
Experience with battery or energy management systems and familiarity with Siemens portfolio in data management and simulation are a plus.
