In order to support the team of
SA/WB ESI Harness Design in FAF Engineering, Airbus Commercial is looking for an
Electrical System Installation Engineering (d/f/m)

Our Single Aisle Program is evolving dynamically and there is the need to develop further in order to fulfill the market requirements.

The next major development is focusing on an extended long range version (XLR) of the A321.

Introducing new tools, processes, and more automation (e.g. CAPITAL, DDMS and Lean PLM) are the next steps to prepare the future.

We are looking for motivated and qualified people for our new skill based organization, established in order to do the development in the area of the Center and Aft Fuselage.

This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Your tasks and responsibilities

Secure the creation of all Harness Drawing-Sets according to the A/C Program Planning.
Ensure the preparation, check and release of the Definition Dossier in quality acting as CI-Responsible / Internal Checker.
Support the MODclosure, attestation (Delta1analysis) and nonconformity process for her/his deliverables.
Coordinate the required qualification/standardization activities.
Participate in the definition of requirements for a suitable design infrastructure (Methods and Tools e.g. DDMS).
Also, the jobholder will be responsible for one or more Focal Point task(s) and participate to special projects related to Electrics, with the particular tasks:
Fulfil the assigned project(s) and/or Focal Point task(s) in time and quality

Desired skills and qualifications

Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in Aircraft design or a related discipline.
Appropriate professional experience in Engineering
First experience in Information Systems, Project management
Experience in Manufacturing, Quality,
German language or Negotiation level of English

This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
