In your new role your tasks will include:


  • Implementation and
    improvement of
    CI/ CD pipelines for
    industrial equipment software:
-
Automation of
deployments &
maintenance tasks in the infrastructure area

  • Supporting the
    development teams
    in optimizing DevOps
    processes, e.g.

through automation and system level testing**:

  • Introducing
    new strategies for
    deploying and
    operating software (containerization and data analysis)
  • Implementation of
    monitoring and
    logging concepts for
    optimal monitoring of
    industrial equipment software
You are best equipped for this task if you:

  • Are currently studying
    Computer Science, Electrical Engineering
    or comparable field of study and are ideally at least in your 3
    rd Bachelor semester**:
  • Bring
    knowledge of
    Linux (e.g. RHEL, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu)
  • Are experienced with
    programming or scripting in at least one language
  • Know the
    basics of
    DevOps toolchain , e.g.

Git or
Jenkins as well as
configuration management tools like
Ansible and
Puppet:


  • Bring
    analytical thinking , an
    independent way of working , and the
    willingness to learn:
  • Ability to
    communicate and
    document your work in
    English
  • CV in English
  • Certificate of enrollment at university
  • Latest grades transcript (not older than 6 months)
  • High school report

You must be enrolled and not on academic leave: Proper students (according to German law) are warmly welcome

You should live close to the site: More than 150 km distance is not recommended for a working student job due to the travel.
